...It is my collage photo when I've got an hiking trail from Takao Station up to Mount Takao,Mount Shiroyama,Kobotoki,Hakusan Temple,etc. (^-^))) There's a lot of beautiful scenery and interesting temple and more attractive hiking opportunities...

...There's a lot of hiking course and lots of temple and shrine.Mount Takao is the mountain that I loved the most..."MOUNT TAKAO" is a mountain in the city of HACHIOJI,TOKYO.It is protected within "MEIJI NO MORI",standing 599meters(1,965ft.)tall and located within an hour of downtown TOKYO.It is popular hiking courses and morethan 2.5million annual visitors !!!

...The hike to the top is relatively easy,even for children.some several trails,but the most frequented is the well-paved route#1...The other courses/route are rougher paths that will appeal to those in need for real nature away from the crowds,although the views are probably the best from route#1...

...Mount Takao is the popular day trip with the Tokyoites and can get crowded on weekends and National holidays,especially by fair weather...

...It takes about 90minutes to reach the top,but this can be cut in half by taking a cable car (470yen).which most Japanese weekenders in fact do.Almost all the souveners shops,food stall,and vending machines that are not at the top of the hill are to be found around the cable car station...

..."INARI ROUTE"

...Although hiking in Mt.Takao is so easy but you must take good walking shoes if you intend to take the smaller paths such as "Inari route"

...As there are rocks,and big tree roots galore,in addition of a long way stairs steps...
